We are Total Tennis, Inc. Our core business is to build and recondition outdoor basketball and tennis courts. We’ve been servicing schools, municipalities, country clubs, tennis clubs, and private home owners for over 30 years. Our wide range of services include color coating asphalt/concrete tennis and basketball courts, reconditioning and building clay tennis courts, constructing chain link fence around sports surfaces, building bocce ball courts, and installing lacrosse backdrop netting systems.

We are looking for a skilled, reliable general laborer to help grow our company. In this position you will learn from other team members with over 20 years of experience each.  Your position will involve assisting the team, helping with all day to day operations, while learning best practices developed over 30 years. A strong work ethic and attention to detail while being able to follow instructions is essential to growing inside our company. Our work starts in early spring and will last until late fall or early winter. Applicants should have previous construction experience and be familiar with best safety practices. 

Qualifications/Requirements-

  • Must be able to show up on time every day.
  • Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required.
  • Be able to work overtime when required.
  • Must have a strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions while working as a team.
  • Communication skills: Ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers, contractors and the general public in a courteous, professional manner at all times.
  • Must be able to operate small hand and power tools such as drills and saws.
  • Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, and rain.
  • Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to operate small hand and power tools such as drills and saws.
  • Must be able to pass initial drug test and random drug tests screenings throughout the year

General Labor Duties & Responsibilities-

  • Load/unload equipment and supplies on trucks
  • Organizing materials and equipment in our warehouse
  • Show up on time every morning
  • Follow project instructions given by the project manager
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment & materials
  • Hammering nails into clay tennis court line tapes
  • Climbing ladders to hang windscreen
  • Spreading material by hand or while driving a utility cart
  • Mixing 30-55 gallon drums of paint with a mixer
  • Cleaning out used barrels of paint
  • Pressure washing
  • Applying crack filler & other types of repair
  • Pouring five gallon buckets of paint for team members squeegeeing paint
  • Line painting
  • General site cleanup
  • Digging & setting concrete footers manually or with a skid steer

Helpful, but not required-

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Previous experience driving larger trucks
  • Previous experience operating a skid steer
  • Previous experience with vehicle maintenance
  • Previous experience with asphalt ceiling or fence construction
  • Previous warehouse experience
