> Menzies Client Solutions (MCS) achieved the 2018 Award for “Best Improved Customer Care Centre” from Air France KLM Worldwide.
> Gatwick Airport Storage and Hydrant Company (GASHco) won a JIG Recognition Award.
> Menzies Aviation were shortlisted for the International SOS Foundation’s Duty of Care Awards 2018 in the Aviation category.

> British Airways presented a Menzies employee with a Safety Award for outstanding service and operational compliance.
> United Airlines awarded a “Quality First Award” to Menzies Aviation’s Into-Plane (ITP) Fuelling Team at Washington Dulles Airport (IAD) for the strong operational performance delivered in the first quarter (Q1) of 2018.
> Menzies Aviation’s Barcelona Red Bull business unit scored 98% on their 8 Pillar Audit last month, and were awarded a Gold 8 Pillar Certificate to commemorate the occasion.
> Menzies Aviation Bobba Bangalore was chosen as a winner of the “Air Cargo Terminal Management” award by the Indian Chamber of Commerce.
> Menzies Aviation and the Cathay Pacific team in Johannesburg won the airline’s award for Outstanding Achievement in On-Time Performance.
> The Menzies Aviation team at Sydney Airport (SYD) won two awards for safety performance from key customers Malaysia Airlines and Cathay Pacific.
> Malaysia Airlines selected Menzies Aviation’s Ground Handling team for Outstanding Safety Performance during 2017.
> Menzies Aviation and the Cathay Pacific team in Johannesburg won the airline’s award for Outstanding Achievement in On-Time Performance.
> Menzies Aviation Bobba (Bangalore) was presented with the Star Performance Award from DHL Aviation for their outstanding Cargo Handling services in 2017.
> The Menzies Aviation team at Mérida International Airport have been awarded American Airlines’ Customer Cup, competing against 28 other stations worldwide. This is Mérida’s second win, making them the only station to be awarded the cup in two consecutive rounds.
> Budapest Airport held their 11th annual awards ceremony this month, and selected Menzies Aviation Hungary for their Greenairport Partner of the Year award.
> Hyderabad Menzies Air Cargo has been certified by SGS India as compliant with the World Health Organisation’s Good Storage and Distribution Practices (WHO-GSDP).
> The Menzies team at Del Bajío International Airport in Guanajuato, Mexico has earned gold status under United Airlines’ (UA) Safety Excellence Program.
> Menzies Aviation Bobba Bangalore received a “Samman Patra” (honour) from the World Customs Organization (WCO), naming Menzies Bobba as “Best custodian from Bengaluru Customs Zone” for the year 2017-2018.
> Menzies Aviation’s team in Denver are recognised for ‘Outstanding Customer Service’ by Frontier Airlines.
> Menzies Aviation Macau was recognised with the ‘Remarkable Station’ award from Tigerair Taiwan thanks to the excellent performance of the local team.
> The Menzies Aviation team in La Romana, Dominican Republic received a Gold award for On Time Performance at the annual Airport Experience Conference, held in Cancun, Mexico this year.
> Menzies Aviation Bobba in Bangalore were awarded “Best Outperforming Partner” in the Cargo and Aviation Service for 2016/2017. This is the fourth year in a row that the team has been recognised with this award.
> Our Menzies Aviation operation at Iași International Airport in Romania was awarded Lufthansa Station of the Month. This is a great achievement, as they have been chosen first out of 268 Lufthansa stations worldwide.
> The successful ISAGO (IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations) audit of Menzies Aviation took place in July. Auditors from KLM and Air Transat conducted a full-scope audit, assessing Menzies Aviation’s organisation and management, including all operational processes and procedures such as load control, passenger and baggage handling, aircraft handling, loading and ground movement, and cargo operations.
> Menzies Aviation were recognised at the Melbourne Airport Customer Service Awards 2017 in the category of ‘Customer Service Excellence – Company’. We were nominated for the high level of customer service provided to ensure airlines are presented well and for the willingness of the team to go the extra mile for these customers, ensuring safety and security remain their top priorities.
> Our team in Hyderabad were recognised at the Cold Chain Strategy Summit & Industry Awards 2017. The award was in relation to their Pharma Zone; the first dedicated temperature controlled pharmaceutical handling facility at an airport in India. This provides comprehensive temperature controlled handling and storage solutions to pharmaceutical products such as medicines, bulk drugs, formulations, raw materials and vaccines.
> Menzies Aviation’s Shongololo Lounge in Johannesburg was Highly Commended in the Priority Pass Lounge of the Year Awards 2016 for the Africa & Middle East region. Only 14 other regional awards were distributed in 2016.
> Menzies Aviation employee, Alexander Rosa, was named the recipient of a Menzies GoMAD Award at the request of one of our customers, AirBridgeCargo (ABC). GoMAD, which stands for ‘Go Make a Difference’, are awards presented to exemplary employees who promote excellent standards of health and safety.
> As part of the 18th Annual GHI Conference, Melbourne Airport based Menzies Aviation employee - Greg Bolger - was voted the winner of the Ramp Safety Award 2016 for the Far East, India and Australasia Region. The Awards are held to acknowledge individuals and teams that have gone above and beyond their call of duty.
> The Menzies Macau team received two awards in January crediting their excellent overall performance at Macau International Airport:
- Tiger Air named Menzies Macau winners of their ‘Remarkable Station’ award for continued high standards of operational service for the airline
- XIAMENAIR also awarded Menzies Aviation with the ‘Ground Handling Excellence’ title.
