Account Manager/ Outside Sales Rep

Valley Technical Sales a manufacturer’s representative and distributor is seeking a motivated self-starter with a strong technical aptitude and strong people skills to promote and sell Mechanical and Instrumentation products utilized in Steam, Air and Hot Water systems in Hospitals, Universities, Pharmaceutical, Food and Beverage and Chemical companies throughout New York City (5 Boroughs), Lower counties of New York, Northern New Jersey and Long Island

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Prospect and contact potential and current customers
• Present and sell products to Facility Maintenance, Managers and Engineers
• Provide technical solutions for customer application
• Perform Customer Equipment Surveys
• Develop long term customer relationships
• Participate in local organizations such as ASPE, HESGNY and HFMSNJ

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Technical aptitude toward  HVAC, Plumbing or Process Piping Industry              
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Detail oriented, motivated, self-starter
• Customer service skills
