We are currently seeking Harvest Cellar Hands to join our team for the 2018 harvest season. As a 12th and Maple Harvest Intern you will be exposed to winemaking equipment that few wineries own and fruit from a numerous AVA’s in Oregon and Washington.  Duties include but are not limited to: - Fruit processing - Sanitation of processing lines/cellar equipment - Punch downs/Pump overs/Pulse air - Barrel work - Wine movements - Draining and pressing of tanks  - Additions/Inoculations - Lots of miscellaneous cleaning  Prior harvest experience with large production facilities is desired, but not required. Successful candidates will be highly motivated, detail-driven individuals who possess an aptitude to work independently as well as part of a team. Candidates should have good communication skills, reliability, punctuality, and be prepared for the potential to work long hours. This includes overtime, weekends, day or night shifts, and holidays. Candidates’ schedule must be flexible to cater to incoming fruit. This is a physical job that requires lifting up to 50lbs and walking multiple miles/day, so feel free to put your gym membership on hold for a couple months and bring your Fitbit.  ***Forklift experience is a plus, but not necessary.  Start date for harvest is TBD but will likely be end of August/early September. For those looking to start early with us we do have bottling positions available as of right now (June 26th). Please send your resume and a short cover letter that you might have along with your interest in bottling if desired. Bottling schedule will run from May till the start of harvest and candidates will work 4x 10hr shifts Monday-Thursday.  During the peak of harvest we are a 24hr. facility and we will be offering shift differential for employees willing to work night shift.
