Fire Protection Sprinkler Fitter:

Key Fire Protection is seeking experienced fire protection sprinkler fitters.

Location: Jackson, TN

REQUIREMENTS:

This candidate must have a high school diploma or GED, be at least 18 years of age, and have strong values, honesty, and a hard work ethic. The candidate must be a team player with integrity and must be capable of lifting, performing the physical work required of a sprinkler fitter. This position requires the ability to read and write in English and be detail oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills. The candidate must be responsible with a good attendance and an overall commitment to successfully completing assigned projects. This position requires a self-starter and the ability to work with or without supervision. Some travel as necessary will be required throughout the southeast.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Overall leadership on the jobsite, while leading a team through the successful completion of a fire sprinkler installation project. This will included project management, safety direction, and paperwork for each project and the installation of projects. This includes cutting, threading, and grooving pipe as necessary as well as the physical demands of being a sprinkler fitter. Must be capable of installing all types fire sprinkler systems including, wet systems, dry pipe systems, pre-action systems, deluge systems, fire pumps and standpipes for both residential and commercial type systems. Interior and underground fire protection systems and service work and system troubleshooting will be a part of this position’s responsibility.

TRAINING:

Key Fire Protection offers both apprenticeship training and foreman Training through the American Fire Sprinkler Association.  You can train while on the job with pay progressions equivalent to your training progressions.
