The St. Charles County Police Department (SCCPD), Missouri Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (MO ICAC) is looking to hire a military veteran. St. Charles County has a growing population of over 373,000; we are the first county west of St. Louis and the fastest growing county in Missouri. We will be a fully accredited law enforcement agency in Early 2018, with over 170 employees and many opportunities. We are seeking a U.S. Veteran to work in our state of the art Cyber Crime Task Force unit, which is scheduled to expand to almost double its current size in early 2018. The position is a 2 year grant position funded by the Office of Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP). During this employment period, the St. Charles County Police department will provide you with ample training opportunities along with necessary equipment. Every effort will be made at the conclusion of the grant period to provide you with permanent employment based on available funding. If offered a position, your assignment will be to reduce the computer/electronic media forensic back log of child pornography and child exploitation investigations.
The St. Charles County Government provides a very appealing compensation package, to include Missouri LAGERS Pension system, Deferred Compensation 457 program with a 401A match program; you will also receive medical/dental and life insurance benefits. Annual compensation for the grant position is approximately $52,000 a year. We provide an excellent work environment and are the lead agency for Missouri Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
