****Job is Temporary. Lasting up to 12 weeks**** Receives, counts, and stores stock items and records data, manually or using computer. Records nature, quantity, value or location of material, supplies, or equipment received, shipped, used, or issued to workers. May be required to compare inventory records with sales orders, invoices or requisitions to verify accuracy and receipt of items. May locate and select material, supplies, tools, equipment, or other articles from stock or issue stock item to workers. May compile, review and maintain data from contracts, purchase orders, requisitions and other documents to determine supply needs. Packs, unpacks and marks stock items, using identification tag, stamp, electric marking tool or other labeling equipment. Delivers products, supplies and equipment to designated area and determines sequence and release of back orders according to stock availability. Prepares documents, such as inventory balance, price lists, shortages, expenditures and periodic reports, using computer, calculator, or manual methods. May receive and fill orders or sell supplies, materials and products to customers. Examines and inspects stock items for wear or defects, reports damage to supervisor, and disposes of or returns items to vendor. Adjusts, repairs, assembles or prepares products, supplies, equipment or other items, according to specifications or customer requirements. Cleans and maintains supplies, tools, equipment/instruments and storage areas to ensure compliance to safety regulations. Determines method of storage, identification and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capacity of facility.

Windows Server Administrator responsible for installation, configuration and support of all Windows, VMware ESXi servers and operating systems within a DoD enterprise environment requiring 24x7 uptime. Responsibilities include building, installing and configuration of all physical and virtual servers, deploying and testing OS, virus updates, patches, STIGS, SCAP, and performance tuning.  Duties and Responsibilities: Installs and configures Windows server hardware and software, to include physical and virtual servers, legacy Linux, Windows Server, Active Directory, IIS, VMware ESXi, Virtual Center, VMotion and HBSS. - Assumes a primary role in the testing of new equipment. - Troubleshoots Windows and ESXi server and OS issues. Independently utilizes all available resources (knowledge bases, online resources, etc.) to ensure timely resolution of server issues. - Develops operating procedures for system administration activities including system monitoring, performance tuning, backup/recovery, server architecture design and system maintenance. - Follows operating procedures and utilizes established support tools for analysis and reporting requirements. - Executes a planned program of virus updates, patch and service pack management, including testing, deployment staging, and documentation. Install, maintain and manage Windows WSUS, SCCM, HBSS, and other servers for automated updates. - Performs regular system maintenance, hardware and software upgrades, physical to virtual migrations and performance tuning. - Interfaces with Network Engineers, Storage Engineers, Database Administrators and Application Teams to optimize systems use and configuration. - Actively participates in project planning to ensure timely and successful completion of projects assigned to Windows server team. - Provides technical knowledge and recommendations to staff members as required. - Provides server hardware capacity recommendations. - Provides installation support for new applications and software releases. - Interfaces with hardware vendors to maintain and schedule repair of equipment in a timely manner and /or provide hardware repair and maintenance as required. - Provide on-call 24 x 7 support on a rotating basis. - Ensure/implement the rigorous application of Information Security/Information Assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of Systems, Applications and/or Services (Hardware & Software).  -Reviews DISA's Windows Server Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and Checklists for guidance. - Performs other related duties as assigned.

Receives and responds to end user “help” requests and/or trouble reports. Diagnoses, troubleshoots, identifies and resolves hardware failures and software problems. Enters all “help” requests received into a central database and monitors requests needing higher-level assistance until resolved. Coordinates warranty repair of equipment, when appropriate. Responsible for the lifecycle planning, identification of funding requirements, formulation of purchase requests and fielding of automation and software for users within the organization. Maintains hardware and software inventory. May serve as information system security officer for area of responsibility. Performs first level troubleshooting for customers. Receives and logs issues, questions, requests from phone, voice mail, email, and walk-in customers regarding PC hardware, software, printers, and peripherals. Attempt to resolve issues/requests at the time of contact or escalate in accordance with procedures for additional support/resolution. Professionalism is a must since you will be co-located with the customer.
