Caltrans Veterans Outreach Program (VOP) is a Transitional Employment Program helping Active Duty Members and Veterans  return back to the workforce. The VOP program work crews perform roadside maintenance through highway beautification projects with Caltrans throughout California.

         Who’s Eligible    Veteran with DD214*   Reserve/National Guard with documents *   Honorable or General Discharges*  Ability to pass a Drug Test
  Pass Pre-employment Interview*  Attend Road side Safety Training
 
Participants Receive* Temporary paid employment* 6 month Program-$14.00per hour* 24-40 hours a week “typical”* Employment soft skills* Career Exploration*
