Job Description/Responsibilities
The Security Officer patrols the premises and property to ensure safety and provide a secure environment for residents, guests, employees, volunteers, clients, and the Village property. The security officer will enforce all rules and regulations set forth for the operation of the Village.
Some Essential Functions are:
· Ensure integrity and security of all buildings.
· Maintain surveillance of Village properties through the use of Security monitors.
· Patrol all areas of the Village.
· As directed, respond to alarms that occur at off-site properties.
· Control access to all Village buildings and property.
Job Qualifications
Education and Experience: At least 18 years of age, six months of related or similar security experience required, high school diploma or equivalent required, and a valid California Guard Card is required.
Certificates for baton and pepper spray within 3 months of employment.
