Architectural Drafters / Surveyors
 
We are currently looking for ARCHITECTURAL DRAFTERS / SURVEYORS. We are a small Architectural firm in Canoga Park, CA. specializing in As-built drawings and Square Footage Calculations. 

We are seeking Architectural Drafters with 2+ years' experience with AutoCAD 2009+. Survey experience a plus (but not required). This position will consist of field survey work gathering As Built information and floor plan creation using AutoCAD back in the office. Position is Full time 40 hours a week - Monday through Friday. Field Survey training and equipment will be provided.

Our projects occur throughout the U.S. Travel to places that you wouldn't normally see on your own, and work on a variety of different types of properties (Commercial, Retail, Residential, etc.). There is a comfortable mix of spending time working in the office and out in the field surveying. 

Must be willing to travel on short notice, and possibly extended periods (about 2 weeks maximum). 

Must have reliable transportation and be dependable. Most of our work is in the L.A. and surrounding areas and it is preferred that all applicants live in the vicinity of the office.

Skills required;

2+ Years of AutoCAD experience
Survey experience a plus (Survey training will be provided)
Full knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Good Communication Skills
Self-Motivated
Able to work alone
Team player
Reliable Transportation and a Valid Driver's License
Willingness to Travel (possibly for extended periods)
