Opening for a Lawn Maintenance Crew Chief.

Duties will include safely driving and navigating an Isuzu landscaping truck to client addresses, mowing, power blowing, edging and trimming as well as basic light landscaping such as placing pine straw and mulch, planting seasonal color, storm cleanup, tree removal and basic lawn maintenance. Successful candidate will be able to prove capabilities with demonstrating starting and operating used Toro mowing and Stihl equipment at interview site.

Duties will not be limited to, but include following and enforcing company policy with other personnel assigned to crew; keeping company records as assigned to station, and be able to train other new hires up to company standards. Candidate will be able to attend weekly staff meeting with manager outside of regular work hours.

A successful candidate will also respond with an attached resume listing other landscaping contractors that you have worked for. Work performed with residential equipment IS NOT considered experience. SPEED and ACCURACY while trimming, weed eating, and edging will be skills possessed by the successful candidate. Being able to perform light maintenance on Stihl equipment will also be a prized skill. The position offered is full time.

Compensation will be up to $13/hr for qualified candidates with a short probationary period upon hiring.

Considerable Commercial Landscaping Experience

Expert usage of Commercial Lawn Equipment

Valid GA Driver's License

Ability to safely drive, navigate, and operate an Isuzu landscape truck

EXPERIENCE WITH A MAJOR LANDSCAPER IS PREFERENTIAL

Employee will be able to do the following:

Be able to reach work site by 7AM without Employer assistance (The Village at Flynn Crossing; 5180 McGinnis Ferry Rd)

Pass Criminal background check

Pass Drug test

Adapt to changes in work schedule - occasional Saturday work - at least a one day alert

Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
