We are a surgical practice seeking a mature, dedicated professional with proven experience in the management field.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
HR functions - Possess knowledge of Human Resource principles and practices and current labor laws and regulations. Knowledge and maintainence of office policy and procedures. The hiring, evaluating and counseling of staff. Maintenance of employee benefits and deductions, as well as Cobra, garnishments, workman's comp and disability paperwork. Tracking and entry of payroll hours and PTO.
Physician credentialing - hospital and insurance company credentialing, reappointments and renewal of licenses.
Maintenance of electronic medical records, meaningful use tracking and attestation, PQRS reporting and basic knowledge of coding to ensure compliance with billing procedures.
Trouble shoot computer hardware and software issues, proficiency of equipment and facilitate repair.
Inventory control and ordering of medical and office supplies.
Knowledge of registration, scheduling functions, coordination of benefits and the pre-certification process.
Direct patient flow, handling of patient inquiries and complaints.
Day to day office operations and work flow.
Coordination and utilization of staff to ensure maximum efficiency and excellent patient care.
Knowledge of and upholding of HIPAA guidelines and OSHA regulations.
Experience Required:
Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree.
Minimum of ten years management experience.
Possess relevant computer skills
