We are a designer and importer of housewares and home décor products looking for an experienced Sales Assistant to work one on one with the National Sales Manager. We are well-established in our industry, but are in a growth mode. Thus, we are seeking a highly motivated, detail oriented multi-tasker who can make significant contributions in our fast-paced environment. MAJOR DUTIES:- Provide general administrative support
- Aid the National Sales Manager in daily activities
- Perform data entry duties
- Assist in the preparation of sales presentations
- Interface with customers via email, telephone and in person
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE :
- 2 years previous experience working in an extremely fast paced environment, preferable within a retail/wholesale industry and for a Sales Manager/Director/VP level Executive
- Exceptional Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with MAS or a similar enterprise system a plus
- Unmatched communication skills (written and verbal) and math skills
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, reliable and able to multi-task
- Ownership of job/ responsibilities. A 100% commitment attitude 40+ hours a week!
- College degree preferred but not required
