One of my fondest memories as a young adult was driving around with my father (the late Vernon Cooper, Sr.) and my mother, Dorothy Cooper, as they began the growth of our family-owned business, C&C Refuse Company.  The company officially began in the late 70s, and we spent endless hours doing various services throughout Montgomery County. After the passing of my father, I maintained the refuse business and then soon branched into lawn maintenance full time. Amazingly, several clients from C&C decided to use my lawn maintenance services and a many of them are still with us after all these years.

Today, REC Lawns, LLC has grown to be a successful lawn maintenance company servicing over 1200 customers in the Montgomery, Prince Georges, Fredrick and Howard counties.
