The goal of 1st Chance Garage is to be a fair, honest, reasonable and reliable automotive repair shop where customers feel valued for their trust in our company.

1st Chance Garage LLC is owned and operated by Dennis Kenny Jr. Dennis is ASE Certified in Maintenance and Light Repair, Suspension and Steering, Brakes, Electrical/Electronic Systems and Engine Performance. Following graduation from Baker College with an Associate Degree in Automotive Service, Dennis worked as an Instructional Technician at Oakland Intermediate School District. While there, he pursued his Teaching Certification in Vocational Education through Ferris State University and then a Bachelor Degree from Baker College. Upon completion of his Bachelor Degree and Teaching Certification, Dennis taught Automotive Service Technology at Genesee Area Skill Center and Wexford Missaukee Career Technology Center. He left teaching last year to open 1st Chance Garage located between Lake City and Cadillac on LaChance and Jennings.
