Mechanical Electrical Operator Biotech firm located in Columbia Maryland is seeking a qualified Mechanical and Electrically inclined Operator level position. Candidate must have ability and experience to maintain and repair automated production lines, including mechanical, electrical and pneumatics.
The ideal candidate must be a team player with experience operating and repairing mechanical automated production lines, electronic instrumentation, and general production and test lines.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble consumable goods, on either manual or automated production lines, including packaging and shipping products
- Perform repair and maintenance on multi-axis motion control systems. .
- Must be organized, prompt, professional and efficient with excellent attention to detail and ability to document within an FDA quality system.
- Must have good overall electrical and controls experience such as knowledge of wiring, PLC's, relays, motors, sensors, etc., and be able to assess electronic and mechanical problems and provide problem solving solutions.
- Demonstrated manual dexterity as it relates to detailed assembly processes. Ability to use hand tools and electronic test equipment such as drills, presses, multimeters, micrometers, conveyor belts, and soldering equipment.
- All processes are performed under GMP.
Requirements:
- Must have minimum of five years of mechanical experience operating and repairing machinery and equipment.
- Be dependable and on time with reliable transportation
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time while working, and must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted, on a regular basis.
- Basic computer skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to achieve results with minimum supervision.
