Job Description Provides design, configuration, implementation and activation support related to software programs. Conducts software analysis, including design and testing. Implements software changes and installs upgrades. Troubleshoots, diagnoses and resolves technical problems and system anomalies. This position is in support of our Seaport-e Task Order supporting the Technical Engineering Department on mutliple seaport Task Orders. This position may require travel CONUS and OCONUS in support of enginnering activities.  Travel will be less than 10% of the assignment.   Experience with the following is required; Minimum of 7 years’ experience Drafting Experience. Ability to perform as the program’s primary Drafter on all engineering tasks. Candidate will work closely with engineers, senior technicians and logisticians to rapidly prototype, modify legacy drawings and design various systems. Qualified individuals must possess an understanding of the engineering life cycle as the system progresses. Must be able to create and modify detailed models and drawings using industry standard AutoCAD and Solidworks modeling software. Apply elements of drafting and computer-aided design (CAD) standards to complex component drawings and detailed assembly drawings from written procedures, engineering sketches / markups, preliminary design notes and other data checking own drawings for clarity, completeness and conformity to industry standards. Bachelor’s Degree (Demonstrated experience in the areas defined above may be accepted in lieu of degree). Applicants selected for this position at a minimum will require an active DoD Secret clearance and background screening.   The following experience is highly desired: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is highly desired. Operational experience with military tactical data systems, communication systems and Mine Warfare (MIW) and Mine Countermeasure (MCM) systems is a plus.
