Do you have a passion for farm to table cuisine? Do you enjoy working in a fast paced environment, cooking scratch food by hand, with a menu that changes often to incorporate seasonal and local cuisine? Then Irv's Pub might be a great place for you to work!
Irv's is seeking line cooks for its gastropub restaurant in Hershey. Our current menu features house-butchered fish and meats, as well as a fresh pasta, a housemade charcuterie program that offers up to a half a dozen selections, and a house smoked bacon program. We source not only from local farmers markets and Mennonite farm produce auctions, but also from great local purveyors that provide us with some of the best regional seafood, local meat, and artisan farm grown produce from the area.
Applicants must have a strong desire to work in a kitchen dedicated to improving each and every day. Our goal to serve the best food in Hershey is driven by our inner creativity grounded in classic technique and flavor profiles, both internationally and regionally. A great opportunity for a cook looking to refine their skills from family restaurants, or for someone with fine-dining experience looking for a place to contribute.
Benefits after 90 days. 401K after 1 year, including up to 4% match. Weekends a must. Schooling preferred but willing to overlook based upon experience.
