Responsibilities

•    perform field canvasses of all commercial areas within a city/county
•    create and/or verifies inventories of local business activity
•    compare field reports to Board of Equalization registration files to isolate errors and exceptions
•    generate audit cases within HdL’s proprietary software system

Job Requirements

•    strong and consistent work ethic - ability to meet and exceed baseline productivity targets on a weekly basis under minimal supervision
•    initiative – ability to work independently, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
•    solid research and analytical skills
•    ability to navigate in unfamiliar areas using Thomas Brothers map books & various mapping applications
•    ability & willingness to travel throughout California for up to 3-4 days at a time
•    positive attitude, commitment to team and companywide goals and objectives
•    reliable car, clean driving record, appropriate insurance coverage
