Wanted Self Storage Manager:
Now accepting manager resumes for a self - storage facility in the Marysville,Washington area.
We highly encourage Retired Military, Vets, and/or men and/or women with integrity and a sense of responsibility. We prefer a non-smoking residential manager or a team/couple to oversee this business and properly manage this self- storage facility. You must be up for a long term commitment for this position. We will be checking working and personal references - please provide both with resume.
You will be reporting to the owner directly and on a daily basis.
You will need to be able to walk the grounds and buildings making security check of all buildings, making sure units are locked and clean up were needed. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. You will monitor gate traffic and cameras throughout the day. You will have on the job training.
Key responsibilities would include:
Leasing of self- storage space
U-Haul Truck Rental/Returns
Timely collections of rent and fees
Follow facility guidelines and policies
Retail Sales & Customer Service
Perform minor maintenance & schedule maintenance with vendors
Vacating & cleaning units
Maintain a clean property/facility
Preparation of letters and documentation relating to auction process
Marketing to local businesses and the community
Assist with Web-site Maintenance & other marketing
Follow facility guidelines and policies as established by owner
Minimum Requirements:
1 to 2 years as a resident manager or the equivalent in property management.
Management background in other fields that required customer service along with sales -management and marketing
Willing to learn management techniques / take on-line classes and webinars.
Must possess excellent phone skills.
Must possess strong organizational and time management skills.
Must have current computer experience and be familiar with ( word, excel , and outlook)
Superior customer service and sales skills.
Strong communication skills.
Likes to interact with the public and handle people with respect.

Self-motivated, goal oriented personality.
Ability to treat the property and business with respect, as if it were your own.
Must be willing to work weekends if needed.
