We are in search of a Technician/ installer
We will train you on all aspects desired
Requirements:
-Must have a valid drivers license
-Must be able to work independently
-Must be able to speak clearly with the ability to explain how to use equipment.
-Must be able to read and write in order to complete daily paperwork needed.
-Customer service is one of the most important traits we desire.
-Must be able to safely lift up to 50/ 100 lbs
-A clean driving record is needed as you will be driving within the areas of Long Island, all 5 Boros and New Jersey.
Previous installer, technician, electrical, handy-man or contractor type of work would greatly enhance your ability to perform well in this position. Salary will be based upon experience and relevancy to the worked performed. Ability to troubleshoot equipment and repairs is highly desired.
The technicians are responsible for a number of duties ranging from:
-Installing; Aluminum wheelchair ramps, stairglides, vertical platform lifts, car lifts, ceiling lifts and/ or grab bars.
-Delivering and assembling: Various types of medical equipment: Shower chairs, Hospital beds, wheelchairs, medical alert devices.
The technician position will have the responsibility to care for a company vehicle which will be used on a daily basis. The technician is responsible to safely and securely load equipment needed for daily delivery.
This position is a Monday - Friday work week with an occasional Saturday if needed. The hours tend to start at 9 and end at 5 depending on the type of work for that day.
Training will be provided.
