Job Description: Provide above average customer service to Members and Guests. Anticipate and exceed all needs by all those who use our facilities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to working in the cart barn, bag room, bag drop, and practice facility. 
Role and Responsibilities
Treat all members, guests and employees with the utmost respect.
·         Uphold a conservative appearance
·         Great members by their last name Mr./Mrs./Dr. and a smile.
·         Treating all members, the same at all times.
·         Care for all work areas by cleaning and organizing daily.
·         Keeping supervisor fully informed of any and all issues related to the golfing operation.
·         Responsible for maintaining clean and safe working conditions.
·         Perform any other related duties as asked by a supervisor.
 
Practice Facilities
  • Setting up all areas in a timely manner is accordance with posted open and closing hours.
  • Keeping areas stocked and cleaned throughout the day/shift.
  • Break down practice areas and clean all balls from those areas.
Cart Barn/Staging Area
·         Dress and stage golf carts for days’ play or event.
·         Maintain staging area and bag drop.
·         Clean all golf clubs that come from off the course and dropped off for play or storage.
·         Clean and detail golf carts and cart barn area.
·         Inform members and guests of any cart restrictions or unusual conditions on the golf course.
·         Over communicate with other Outside Operations Staff and Professional Staff throughout the day about who has and is currently on the golf course and practice areas.
 
 
 
 
 
 
Qualifications and Work Environment
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of typical golf course procedures.
  • Ability to physically lift and carry 25- 50lbs., sometimes overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.
  • Ability to operate a golf cart in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Present a positive and professional image.
  • Hard working, loyal and customer service oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Reliable and continued attendance.
  • Must be able to frequently walk, sit, stand, bend and kneel for longer periods of time.
  • The employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions including cold and heat.
 
Work environment
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.
  • The job is based through working with a team and being able to work within a team is vital for being successful.
  • Must work with and around Golf Carts, Range Picker, and Ball Washer.
