Carl Zeiss surgical microscopes, Synthes high speed drills,American Surgical, Raumedic, Lazic and Boehringer Labs.
We will be hiring a" Field Service Technician, Medical Microscopes". We offer full training for the position.
We are looking for and individual to install, troubleshoot, service and maintain our microscopes in the field as well as support our clinical team with customer service and processes.
The position is for a highly detail- oriented individuale that likes people, loves travel, is good at explaining how things work and feels good knowing the work they are doing is helping others.  The selected candidate will be provided with highly specialized training on microscopes and medical equipment MIT represents..  Mechanical ability is a plus.
* Main duty and responsibility:
* Managing our installed base of surgical microscopes for the Northeast.
* Perform diagnostic evaluations on equipment.
* Perform routine maintenence at customer location, including troubleshooting and training customers on equipment.
* Provide service reports on installations and preventive maintenence.
* Demonstrate excellent technical aptitude, unparalleled customer service and excellent communication while on the job.
Experience and requirments:
* Minimum one year of experience in the field service technician capacity or medical device technician.
* Technical degreea plus.
* Demonstrate proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
* Ability to work with small tools and pay close attention to detail.
* Strive for excellence and quality work.
* Meticulous, neat and orderly.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to travel when needed ( footprint northeast) and attend national shows a couple times a year.
* Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
* Starting Salary $45,000 - $50,000 plus semi annual bonus.
