The New Hampshire Department of Corrections will invite qualified candidates via the e-mail address provided on your application to participate in a physical agility test, written examination, structured interview, fingerprint based background investigation, polygraph examination, medical examination, etc. Those candidates who are successful in all phases of this selection process and are selected for hire will be required to take part in and successfully complete a nine week corrections academy gaining state certification as a correctional officer.
