Founder Winston Shelton left GE in the late 60s because of his entrepreneurial spirit and a driving need to create something. Colonel Sanders came to him looking for a better way to fry chicken than the stove-top method they were employing, and Winston designed him a pressure fryer unlike anything else. Later, Winston invented a whole new class of hot food holding equipment that others still try to copy.
