Surtec, Inc. was founded in January of 1975 with the goal of developing and producing the highest quality chemicals, equipment and programs for the cleaning, coating and building maintenance industries.
Surtec has led the industry in the development of "Green Cleaning Products and Programs" since the early 1980's by developing “green” chemical products and complete maintenance programs that really work. Surtec has also developed and patented truly green maintenance equipment, such as high-speed buffers, with vacuum systems that drastically improve indoor air quality along with saving labor dollars. We’ve been granted five patents for unique janitorial and maintenance equipment technology.
Our chemists lead the industry in development of the latest technology in cleaning and coating chemicals for the maintenance of all types of surfaces. Surtec research chemists maintain a constant relationship with Federal and State O.S.H.A. and E.P.A. regarding existing and new requirements for our industry. Surtec also provides "Right-to-Know" training for our customers to assist them in complying with California SB-198 and State and Federal OSHA requirements.
Surtec’s 87K square foot, state of the art chemical manufacturing facility is located in Tracy, California. Surtec uses only premium quality raw materials in manufacturing all chemical products. Our Chemical Manufacturing Department is a "State of the Art", maximum waste minimization facility, eliminating chemical waste concerns.
Our products are all manufactured from master formulas developed by Surtec’s research and development chemists. Final quality control tests are conducted on every batch prior to release and packaging. Quality control samples are retained for a minimum of six years.
All of our products and programs are supported by Surtec employed, factory trained technical representatives. Surtec is a sustainable chemical manufacturer in California that operates a "Green Safe” production facility that, both meets and exceeds all U.S. EPA and California EPA standards.
In 2015, Surtec was honored at California Small Business Day, as Small Business of the Year, District 13. Surtec was celebrated for their hard work and dedication to the community. California Small Business Day honored 80 out of 3.3 million small businesses in the State of California for their contribution to the state’s economy.
