Element provides a full spectrum of testing services where real world scenarios/conditions are recreated to ensure functionality and robustness of design. Customer products are exposed to environmental conditions ranging from -65 deg F, recreating temperatures experienced at altitude and polar latitudes, and to 160+ deg F, recreating conditions only experienced while operating in the hottest deserts on Earth. This temperature range is then expanded upon to account for process heat generation and losses.
In addition to the environmental stresses imparted on customer products, they must also function to their intended design. Designs often utilize pressures and flows of hydraulic and pneumatic media. These pressures and flows are often heated and cooled to recreate actual use conditions. Through various metering methods, these often complex sequences are tightly synchronized and account for another piece of a combined environment test setup.
In the final step of these (re)creations, our experienced engineering staff links the physical world to the digital world through closed loop automation and data acquisition. This allows complete control of the systems and creates the ability to quantitatively view and review performance to the imparted test conditions.
