A nationwide Property Management firm has an immediate opening for a full-time experienced Maintenance Tech in LaPorte, IN (just minutes from SW Michigan). We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join our team and assist with the maintenance for a multiple unit property.

Duties/Responsbilities:

Prior maintenance experience in Multi-Family Housing desired
Strong maintenance skills to include: electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting and drywall
Schedule and prepare unit turnovers, including all preparation work
Perform appliance repairs
Experience in conducting unit inspections
Maintain a clean property
Must have strong customer service skills
Must have own vehicle and maintenance tools.
Must have valid driver's license and insurance


Safety Requirements:

Required to observe company safety procedures and standards to ensure individual safety, in addition to avoiding unnecessary risk to oneself, co-workers, customers and property.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to walk the property daily
May include lifting up to 45 lbs.

**Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check** No exceptions!
