Performs administrative and technical support functions for the City's Human Resources Department. Employees in this class are primarily responsible for research, development and preparation of position descriptions, compensation adjustments, surveys, reports and projects related to the Classification and Compensation Division. Assists in ensuring all classification and compensation plans are structured and administered, as well as working with Payroll on changes to how employees are paid, in accordance with State and Federal regulations, approved City ordinances, union agreements, and administrative regulations.
