What You’ll Do As a Principal Consultant - Software Engineer, you will do the following: The BPM Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining both new and existing Pega business processes. As part of an Account Delivery team, the developer will be responsible for supporting the design of new business processes and development of the business processes using the Pegasystem Pega BPM platform. The successful candidate will be a member of a high-performing, team and must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must have demonstrated effective communication skills and be able to thrive working as part of a cross functional team following Agile methodology. Support BPM design, development, and testing processes. Provide recommendations for the optimal solution that best utilizes the Pega BPM platform and support BPM related development activities to include solution development, capability configurations, and solution delivery. Academic background in computer science, computer engineering or a similar major with extensive computer-based or technical content Experience with BPM software and tools. Ability to bring projects to completion in a timely manner Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Ability to learn and understand the nature of business Able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary teams. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
