Credit Business Specialist Featured
Provides credit leadership in the design, development, implementation, testing, training and documenting of credit and risk related software design and usage. As directed, provides assistance and leadership for department and corporate projects. Serves as a secondary support resource for personnel within the Customer Service Department. Provides assistance to end users in the utilization of credit and risk systems, including Credit Origination, Collateral Appraisal and Financial Analysis. Answers phone calls, responds to e-mails, delivers on-line guidance and works with the user community to develop alternative utilization processes. Provides assistance and leadership, on credit and risk related projects, including organizing, planning, scheduling and reporting on project progress. Participates in all phases of project activity. Provides credit leadership in the design, development and implementation of assigned credit and risk systems. Provides credit expertise in the testing, training and documentation of new and/or upgraded credit and risk related software programs. Assists in ensuring the quality of system changes via pilot installations, as well as developing and determining the appropriate training and implementation methods. Provides backup support for other departmental personnel and their areas of responsibility. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education including a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, agricultural finance, agricultural economics or a related field. Experience of at least one year in agricultural lending, credit analysis, credit automation or credit training. Experience with credit-related computer programs (i.e., Loan Origination, Loan Analysis, Loan Accounting, Risk Systems) is a plus. Knowledge of the Farm Credit System; Bank and Association operations; credit, finance, marketing and accounting principles and practices.
