You choosing what you want or is someone else choosing for you?

What do you want? Choose. Let's try to be as clear as possible on what we choose for our life. If we don't know what we want - how can we expect to get it? If someone else chose it for us, how do we know we want it?

We need clarity of our real desires in all aspects of our life; work, family, relationships, finances, health and every other aspect of our life if we desire to truly live OUR life. Create time today to think about exactly what you desire your life to look like.

Sorry no delegating this one. You need to make the time. Go ahead and pen it into your agenda. If we choose to live on auto pilot without thinking we may be getting all the wrong things. You can jot down notes of what you desire. When you glimpse thoughts of how you would like to live your life, jot them down. When you see something you like jot it down (maybe it is a car ...or a couple holding hands ... a business running smoothly).

Do you have a broad idea such as simply how you want to feel? Or is it more specific with knowing exactly what you want something to look like. There is no right and wrong here – be as detailed as you feel like being. Make notes of as many things that you want for your life as you like. Some may combine into one goal – some may stand alone and all may have different time frames. What are you inspired to do to help you focus? You can ......

  • Write it out in great detail – and read or rewrite daily.
  • Walk around and take pictures. A selfie with you and your desire in it would be spectacular.
  • Visualize exactly the life and or things you desire.
  • Create a collage on your desktop, phone or ipad.
  • Cut out pictures and make a collage for your wall or a binder.

What other things are you inspired to do? Let the seeking of clarity of what you want your life to look like and feel like be a focus today and everyday. You can use this with short term dreams/ goals and farther in the future visions. As you plan and dream – watch how it makes you feel.

The feeling will be part of what helps you get there. You are now on the way to living all of your goals and dreams. Your goals and dreams. Not the goals and dreams of someone else. Sometimes the things that seem so simple are really so important. Take the time. I wonder where the next opportunity is and when it will show up?
