Envision Eye & Laser Center is founded and operated by Dr. Renee Bovelle. Dr. Bovelle is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist who has extensive experience in LASIK, laser, ophthalmic, cataract and BOTOX® procedures. She completed her residency in ophthalmology at Yale University, where she served as Chief Resident. Following her residency, Dr. Bovelle took up a Cornea and Refractive Surgery fellowship at the Louisiana State University Eye Center under the direction of Dr. Herbert Kaufman, one of the world’s leading corneal and refractive surgeons.

Dr. Bovelle also served as the Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Louisiana State University, and even worked at the National Institutes of Health. Her study in ophthalmology, which covered clinical research on the latest devices used in modern refractive surgery, has been published in medical textbooks and ophthalmology journals in the United States and internationally.
