Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, this position is responsible for leading nature education programs. Duties include designing, organizing, and facilitating curriculum for summer nature day camps for children ages 4-12 years old during the summer and other nature education programs during the school year. This position is responsible for planning and teaching in a fun and engaging manner; ensuring safety; being actively involved with children; working cooperatively with staff, interns and teen volunteers; interacting with parents/guardians professionally; and other duties as assigned.
