The Nature Conservancy What We Can Achieve Together: The Land Protection and Mitigation Specialist will work within The Nature Conservancy's Ohio Stream and Wetland In-Lieu Fee Mitigation Program (OMP) and collaborate with other OMP staff to secure land for stream and wetland mitigation projects. This may include identifying and resolving title issues; negotiating agreements, conservation easements, and/or environmental covenants with landowners; developing and routing materials for internal and external project review and approval; ordering and reviewing appraisals, boundary surveys, and environmental site assessments; developing maps using ArcGIS Pro; managing conservation data; and assisting with the production of reports. The Land Protection and Mitigation Specialist may also work on developing baseline documentation reports and conducting easement compliance monitoring.
