GENERAL DESCRIPTION Assemble, test, and rework cables, harnesses, mechanical and electromechanical products. DUTIES Assemble products according to routers, drawings, and all other applicable documentation Operate automatic stripping, crimping, wire cutting, and basic test equipment Maintain a clean and safe working environment Work together cohesively with co-workers to ensure a constructive teaming environment Maintain acceptable test pass rates and quality acceptance rates. Use manual hand tools for assembly and repetitive operation Checks stock bins for adequate supplies of subassemblies, parts, and fasteners for the particular run. Checks for designated carton pack. Contacts material handler if shortages exists or incorrect parts are in bin. From experience, resolves assembly and packing problems. Reports other problems to the Production Manager for assistance.
