The Patient Communication Specialist III (PCS III) is responsible for handling inbound and outbound phone calls, messages, and chats. Provides support to patients by explaining insurance eligibility options, billing statements, collecting past due balances, and scheduling medical appointments.
Essential Functions
Assists patients in understanding their health benefits options and explains eligibility criteria and the documentation required to apply for various insurance and benefit programs. Assists new patients in registering with Mountain Park Health Center and verifies patient demographics, insurance information, and updates changes as needed. Investigates and resolves patient questions regarding the amount owed to the business, explains the various payment options available, and collects payments.
