The STARS Program is a community-based alternative for developmentally delayed youth who are also experiencing mental health disorders. The Allied Therapist serves as a member of the clinical team under the direct supervision of the Clinician or Program Director. Conducts a leisure/recreation assessment within the first week of admission. Consults on the treatment plan and crisis plan. Conducts allied therapies based on the leisure/recreation assessment (can consist of music, art, movement, recreation, occupational, vocational, combination thereof).
