City of Cambridge ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT: The Department of Human Service Programs (DHSP) creates and coordinates services that enhance the quality of life for Cambridge residents. Driven by the needs of residents, DHSP's extensive services and programs touch almost every sector in the city: from newborns to senior citizens, from school-aged children to homeless families, from non-profit organizations to local employers. ABOUT THE ROLE: The Senior Inclusion Support will provide direct support in adapting and modifying programming to meet the needs of a specific child who requires substantial support and/or accommodations in Out-Of-School Time (OST) placements. The Senior Inclusion Support will be supervised directly by the site supervisor in each program with support and guidance provided by the Inclusion Initiative of DHSP. Smith College Description The Program in Statistical and Data Sciences and the Journalism Concentration at Smith College, in conjunction with the Jacobson Center for Writing, Teaching & Learning, invite applications for a 3-year, half-time, benefits eligible position at the rank of Lecturer to begin July 1, 2026. Teaching responsibilities for this position include three courses per academic year, which will regularly include data journalism, the journalism capstone or introductory course, and a third course in the candidate's area of specialization. All courses will be taught in person on Smith's campus in Northampton, MA. Candidates should be practicing journalists and have experience in data analysis, with proficiency in R preferred.
