Description Responsible for performing assigned accounting transactions and maintaining general ledger account reconciliations. Administers the travel and expense system and supports data accuracy across financial systems. Provides accounting support to the SME Education Foundation and works with the SME Finance team to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial activity. MAJOR FUNCTIONS: Performs monthly and annual accruals as assigned. Records adjusting and reclassification journal entries related to special events, as well as other assigned accounting activities. Maintains monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger account reconciliations; prepares adjusting journal entries as needed and escalates issues for review.
