Job Summary: Under indirect supervision, performs a broad range of standard diagnostic procedures and tests on patients, in accordance with established guidelines, to assist the Ophthalmologist in the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases and vision disorders, including: Flurorescein/iris angiography, fundus/slit lamp photography, ophthalmic film development and conducts diagnostic procedures/therapy for eye muscle disorders (orthoptics). Follows Quality of Service and Universal Precautions Standards. Essential Responsibilities: Upholds Kaiser Permanentes Policies and Procedures, Principles of Responsibilities and applicable state, federal and local laws.
