Conducts psychiatric evaluation/medical management and related therapeutic services. Aids in formulating diagnostic impressions based on DSM-V criteria in collaboration with the psychiatrist and other treatment members. May practice in the role of therapist, providing individual and/or group psychotherapy, as needed. Can write prescriptions for non-controlled substances. Will be in verbal and/or electronic contact with the supervisory psychiatrist. Attends meetings as required. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to any age-related needs of the consumers served. The individual demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the consumer population served. The BCBA will provide, assess, document and deliver behavioral support services for individuals with disabilities living in the community and provide training for these individuals and support staff to enable these individuals to reach their highest levels of independence in the community. Will perform all duties necessary to meet state approved objectives, including the requirement that the employee cooperate with the licensee and Division staff in any inspection or investigation. Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team. Hours Both Full Time and Part Time positions are available; hours vary; some on-call responsibilities.
