Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA POSITION PURPOSE As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence across our manufacturing facility. You’ll lead and support initiatives focused on cost reduction, productivity and waste elimination (using Lean methodology), capacity planning, ergonomic improvements, new equipment installation, mistake-proofing (especially with PLCs), BOM and routing validation, scrap reduction, TPM and 5S, floor layout optimization, root cause analysis with corrective actions, SOP maintenance, and other strategic activities as directed by the Operations Manager or Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
