Southern Company Safety Analysis Engineer- Corporate- Birmingham The position is responsible for performance and oversight of engineering and technical products associated with design and licensing basis hazards, accidents, and safety analyses for the SNC fleet. These analyses are conducted to demonstrate the plants operate within acceptable safety limits and design margins following design and licensing basis events. Types of analyses include evaluations of containment response, radiological releases, and transient analyses associated with assumed accidents and events to ensure compliance. This position will actively engage with SNC and industry peers in the development of solutions to generic technical issues as they relate to the fleet's accident and safety analyses.
