Kaiser Permanente Job Summary: Under direct supervision, schedules patients for surgery. Duties include but are not limited to: preparing pre-operative forms, scheduling pre-operative exam(s), scheduling surgery (inpatient and outpatient) admissions, preparing various statistical reports, and coordinates the scheduling of courtesy surgeons. Essential Responsibilities: Upholds Kaiser Permanentes Policies and Procedures, Principles of Responsibilities and applicable state, federal and local laws. Processes and/or schedules all surgery scheduling requests. Coordinates and schedules all pre-operative appointments. Collects surgical service statistics. Monitors surgical service block utilization.
