This position assists the City Treasurer in the administration of office and branch operations; accepts full office responsibility in the Treasurer's absence.
Under very limited supervision, performs high-level supervisory, accounting and administrative work overseeing and coordinating all operations of the Treasurer's Office and its branches. Work involves scheduling projects and assignments; organizing staffing; recommending promotion or disciplinary actions; assisting the Treasurer in disseminating information to employees and the public; and attending training meetings. Provides customer service to citizens referred by staff; exercising tact and courtesy with the general public. Work also involves identifying operational problems and taking corrective action. Monitors the budget and makes recommendations to the Treasurer. Assumes the role of City Treasurer in the event of the Treasurer's incapacitation. This position reports to the City Treasurer....
