Southern Company The purpose of this position is to ensure that fleet vehicles and equipment is maintained and repaired in a safe, reliable, economical and serviceable manner. This is a Union position focused on basic preventive and corrective maintenance on company fleet vehicles and equipment. Job Responsibilities Functional Expertise: Performs preventive maintenance oil changes and inspections in accordance with defined fleet procedures and minor electrical repairs on all fleet vehicles and equipment. Performs fueling and checking of fluids (as needed) on all fleet vehicles and equipment in accordance with defined fleet procedures, company safety guidelines and state and federal regulations.
