Patients may require the following therapies: Swan-Ganz catheter with FICK calculations, intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella devices, CRRT, or Therapeutic Hypothermia. 12 Medical Acute Care (12 MAC) is a 32-bed adult cardiac/telemetry/stepdown unit. 12MAC nurses provide specialty care for a variety of cardiology patients.
