Southern Company Job Summary The Costing Manager position is part of the Demand Planning & Analysis group in the SCS planning and regulatory support organization. This is a shared service team that develops or supports Cost of Service Models for electric and gas subsidiaries, including substantial rate case development and leadership. This position will lead to research into cost and pricing issues for the regulatory filings and planning needs of the system. The costing manager is responsible for ensuring the corporation has the subject matter expertise needed to engage internally and externally on behalf of the corporation. They will partner closely with Regulatory Accounting, Load development, and Rates teams to ensure cost models are accurate, reflect appropriate cost causation, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
