Job Summary Under broad parameters defined by the Chief Human Resources Officer and in accordance with general organizational requirements and accepted practices, manages the daily operation and administration of all City employee benefit plans including, but not limited to, health, dental, and life insurance programs, disability, medical and dependent daycare flexible spending accounts (FSA), retirement plans, and cancer plans. Works with the Chief Human Resources Officer and benefits broker consultants in the evaluation and analysis of existing programs, proposed enhancements, or modifications to existing programs as well as new programs to maintain a competitive benefits program.
